Regency Centers’ Southern California center, Village at La Floresta, and Northern California center, The Pruneyard, are at the heart of their communities. They provide family-friendly events for the surrounding area and create a place for local & regional businesses to grow.


Challenge

Historically, the two shopping centers have experienced low engagement numbers and were finding difficulty increasing their social media engagement. Regency Centers wanted to enhance their social media platforms to become more meaningful and useful within the community they serve.


Solution

Develop a social media strategy and process for collaboration with tenants that enabled a consistent stream of content and event promotion taking place at the center. With the increase in content, an enhanced advertising campaign was put into place that included active community engagement to remain present within the online community.


The Impact

Both centers have seen a steady increase in followers, onsite traffic, website traffic, and engagement across all platforms. Tenants have been increasingly happy with the response from the marketing team and feel supported through the new processes.
