William Cato, Design
William is a well-rounded creative at Dean&Co. who approaches every project through a unique lens to spot opportunities that enhance every project he works on.
After graduating from Laguna College of Art and Design with BFA in Graphic Design + Digital Media, Emphasis in Action Sports William was Lead Graphic Designer for Code Four, an event’s & creative agency. William had the great opportunity to work with companies like LA Rams, LA Chargers, Irvine Company, SOFI Stadium, and more. During his time there he designed experiential designs, designed & printed building-scale printing and custom-fabricated photo ops.
In addition to their client work, William collaborated with the creative team to re-brand the Pacific Airshow, a Code Four owned event. He also helped create the brand for the new 2-night music festival on the beach, Afterburner Music Festival.
Williams's father was a general contractor who pushed him from a young age into action sports like skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, and motorcycle riding. His mother, a preschool teacher, kept him very interested in arts and crafts. He was always the kid carrying the camera, making montages of his friend's skateboarding, and coming up with new logos and brand names for future companies. His passion and purpose in design stems from this foundation set forth by his family.
